Game Developer (m/f)

THE JOB:

• Programming new games in the Unity framework – working on the whole development life cycle of mobile games
• Maintenance of existing games written in the Cocos2d/Cocos2d-x framework
• Programming and maintenance of tools for faster game development

YOUR PROFILE:

• You have a very good knowledge of one (or more) of the programming languages such as C++, C# and Objective-C
• You are a full-time student with associated student rights available for work +32 hours weekly (preference will be given to students in their final year)
• You want to create top-quality mobile games for the international market
• You learn new programming languages and technologies quickly
• You have a high level of curiosity and motivation to proactively find solutions by using different sources (internet, colleagues…)

BONUS POINTS FOR:

• Knowledge of Unity or previously developed projects in the field of gaming

Game Tester (m/f)

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING

• searching for anomalies and bugs (functional, visual and others alike)
• reproducing found bugs
• writing detailed reports about bugs and the gameplay
• communicating with other teams (producers, game developers, content, customer support…)

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• knowledge about Android and iOS mobile devices and software
• knowledge and experience in the process of testing software products
• a high level of personal responsibility and dependability
• organizational skills, the ability to set priorities among various tasks
• patience and resilience to frustration, the ability to self-motivate when faced with repetitive tasks
• fluency in English, especially in writing
• a keen interest for advancements in the field, cutting-edge technology and new gadgets

Job description

We’re looking for a self-motivated Software QA Engineer who will be responsible for delivering high quality products into the hands of our clients and keeping them delighted. As a Software QA Engineer at Axilis, you’ll be working with a team of extremely talented engineers and making sure our solutions are stable, consistent, reliable, flexible, secure and easy-to-use.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Designing and implementing various test strategies for new and existing features
• Defining and executing test plans and test cases
• Devising methods to improve efficiency of testing, with emphasis on test automation
• Collaborating with the development team to successfully resolve problems found during testing
• Promoting an overall culture of quality

We expect you to

• Have a minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related discipline
• Have experience in software quality assurance engineering
• Have a keen eye for details
• Be an analytical thinker and a strong problem solver
• Have general understanding of web application architecture
• Be comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced and informal environment
• Have the ability and willingness to learn quickly and share knowledge with other team members

Smotra Sveučilišta u Zagrebu će se po 22. put održati od 23 do 25. studenoga 2017. u prostorima Studentskog centra. 23. i 24. studenoga Smotra je otvorena za posjetitelje od 10 do 18 sati, a u subotu 25. studenoga od 9 do 15 sati. Osim što je ovo Smotra Sveučilišta, na njoj se predstavljaju i ostala visoka učilišta u Zagrebu pa tako i naše Tehničko veleučilište u Zagrebu. Osim što je Smotra prilika da se informirate o mogućnostima nastavka studija i zapošljavanja te ostalim aspektima života studenata, Smotra je prilika da promovirate naše Veleučilište! TVZ traži 8 studenata sa svih odjela od druge godine nadalje koji su voljni doći na Smotru i u najboljem svjetlu predstavljati TVZ.
